Total length:160 km
Starting point at Madonna di Campiglio: from here direction Pinzolo.
This short path alone offers a fantastic panorama of the whole “Dolomiti di Brenta” chain. For those who love nature, a stop in “Val di Genova” is strongly suggested. The valley accessible by a narrow road, leads to a large waterfall with parking spaces all around.
From Pinzolo head South on the “239” along little, picturesque villages. In “Tione di Trento” diverge into “237”. The road here is initially wide but it narrows. After passing along two rock walls the town of Ponte Arche shows up.
The street towards Molveno is winding. After the village of Dorsino the road narrows a lot and the only way to drive uphill is through several tunnels. This is real excitement for a motorbiker but remember! Caution is needed since it is not rare to encounter public buses along the way.
Next stop at lovely Lake Molveno (800 m asl) that offers the possibility of a good and refreshing swim during summertime.
Molveno is a well established tourist resort and it offers a great view of the Brenta mountain peaks.
The itinerary goes on towards Andalo. From here keep driving towards the Adige valley and once at Mezzolombardo head to Cles.
On the “42” pass through Dimaro and then uphill until Passo Carlo Magno (1.681 m asl).
Drive further and arrive back in Madonna di Campiglio.
